CHICAGO, IL, MAY 16, 2022 — LifeSpice welcomes Estefany Romero to the R&D team as our Lab Assistant based in our Chicago office. Estefany’s background as a pharmacy technician and a chemistry lab assistant makes her a great addition to the R&D department and the LifeSpice team.
After receiving her BS in Biology from Concordia University, Estefany received her pharmacy technician certification and worked on inventory control and tablet formulations for Meds Pharmacy. After her time there, she gained experience as a chemistry lab assistant where she worked on formulations for various projects. Learning about production and inventory in a food industry context particularly interests Estefany, as medicine plays by its own set of rules. She will work closely with R&D and Supply Chain teams at LifeSpice by organizing and taking inventory, meeting strict deadlines, and supporting wherever else she can. She is looking forward to learning about the Food Industry and says spicy foods with lime are some of her favorites.
Estefany was attracted to LifeSpice by the enthusiasm our team has about their various positions and departments, as well as how quickly we are growing as a business. Coming into this role, Estefany says, “I am looking forward to being a part of a motivated and growing group and learn as much as possible in the food sector, not to mention assist as much as possible!” noting her qualities of being very dependable and a team player. We look forward to working with Estefany as LifeSpice continues to grow.
