CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, NOVEMBER 5, 2021 – LifeSpice welcomes Mark Gusich to the Supply Chain team as Supply Chain Manager in our Chicago office. Mark has seven years of experience working in supply chain and five years of experience working in the food industry. Mark, with skills in inventory management and purchasing, is a great addition to the LifeSpice team.
Before coming to LifeSpice, Mark was a material planner at Morton Salt where he oversaw purchasing and inventory while building out their supply chain team. Prior to his work with Morton Salt, Mark was with Walgreens and Glanbia, where he gained experience in inventory management, purchasing, and scheduling production for finished goods. At LifeSpice, Mark uses these skills to help Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Sales and Customer Service teams with managing inventory, cutting costs, and streamlining supply processes. When it comes to food interests, he considers himself an adventurous eater and particularly loves anything spicy.
Mark was drawn to this position at LifeSpice because of the opportunities to experience all parts of our business through collaborating with different people and departments. He is interested in learning more about the industry through procurements as he navigates his first management role. When asked what he is most looking forward to in this new position, Mark says, “I’m thrilled to join the LifeSpice team, expand my knowledge of seasonings and help tackle the ongoing supply chain issues to provide a great customer experience!”. Mark’s efforts as a Supply Chain Manager will help LifeSpice continue to serve our customers quickly and efficiently.
