CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, APRIL 16, 2021 – Michele Stipe is the newest member of LifeSpice’s Human Resources team based in our Homer Glen office as a Human Resources Specialist. Michele’s 20 years of experience in HR working with payroll, policies, and procedures provide her with all the skills she needs to be a key resource for the LifeSpice team.
Michele got her professional start in accounting and payroll and discovered her love for HR when a job opening at the engineering firm she was working at fell into her lap. From there, she decided to obtain her bachelor’s degree and receive her PHR Certification to continue her professional career in Human Resources. Aside from engineering, Michele also has Human Resource experience in healthcare and logistics industries where she was responsible for payroll, building operations and safety. At LifeSpice, Michele is responsible for Human Resources including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, compliance and payroll.
One of her goals in her new HR position is to be a resource for everyone at LifeSpice and get to know employees on a deeper level, as she loves helping people through both good and bad times. “I am very excited about joining LifeSpice and being a HR resource to the team”, Michele says, “I love the variety from being a career coach to peacemaker to detective to event planner. It gives me great pleasure to be a part of someone’s journey through their career and build great relationships though the process.” Michele credits her love for helping people with both being a mom and being a mentor for the non-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, adding that she enjoys watching employees at the businesses she has been a part of grow in their personal and professional skills. Michele looks forward to continuing her career in Human Resources at LifeSpice and getting to learn more about the company and those who work here.
