CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, JUNE 6, 2022 – Sal Chaidez is the newest member of LifeSpice’s sales team as our Southwest Account Manager based in Houston, Texas. Sal has 23 years’ sales experience in the food and beverage industry, having serviced the Southwest, Mexico, and Canada. Along with his Food Industry experience, Sal’s Spanish fluency will help LifeSpice expand its customer base in the American Southwest and Mexico.
Before coming to LifeSpice, Sal sold and managed food and beverage deals for Naturex (now Givaudan), aided with customer service, attended trade shows, and delivered presentations. Sal loves the Food Industry because he can explore different cultures, religions, and people through food and flavors. Prior to working in food, Sal served in the US Army and spent time stationed in various countries, such as South Korea, where he discovered his love for Korean cuisine. In addition to Sal’s love for travel and adventure, he cites his five sons as his greatest achievement and motivating factor for everything he does.
At LifeSpice, Sal will be working with our Marketing team to coordinate with our R&D and Culinary teams’ development of custom seasoning blends for his customers, expand our Southwest business, and assist Customer Service in providing the superior service that LifeSpice has become known for. Sal is looking forward to working in our collaborative environment, as well as traveling up to our Chicago office every now and again to visit the city he grew up in. When asked what he is looking forward to during his time at LifeSpice he said, “meeting new customers and introducing them to trendy and innovative food concepts”, an important priority for our sales team.
