Meet Janae Havis, LifeSpice’s Mix Technician based in our Chicago Headquarters. Janae has been with LifeSpice for a year.

Q: What do you enjoy about working in your department?

A: The people! Everyone is kind and easygoing. Not to mention extremely talented at what they do. I also love the collaborative nature in R&D. It’s a cool experience getting to learn from amazing people that I can both relate and look up to.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: Reading the formulas!  I get to make a lot of the samples sent out to clients so I get a front seat to what new and exciting flavors might be on the market soon. The flavors that we make are always unique and I love breaking down how the flavors are developed by looking through each formula.

Q: Favorite Memory from your time at LifeSpice?

A: Our Friendsgiving potluck event was so much fun! Everything was delicious and it was nice to see coworkers from our other offices. We have a great team here and any time we get to bond is always memorable.

Meet Marisa Bucolo, LifeSpice’s Marketing Coordinator based in our Chicago Headquarters. Marisa has been with LifeSpice for a year and a half.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: I love developing content for our Linkedin (and new Instagram) accounts, as well as improving my graphic design and food photography skills. The latter two are both skills I’ve learned and developed in this position, and it’s so fun to practice them as new projects come up. 

Q: What is your favorite food/flavor? Favorite thing to cook?

A: Anything spicy or cheesy. I love cooking pasta and experimenting with different sauces.

Q: You’re stuck on a desert island and can only bring 3 spices/seasonings with you – what are you bringing? (Salt & Pepper don’t count!)

A: Red Pepper Flakes, Garlic Powder, Everything Bagel!
