Meet Michael Mastrangelo, LifeSpice’s VP of Operations based in our Chicago Headquarters. Michael has been with LifeSpice for 9 years.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: My role gets me out of the office fairly often for local travel which is a great change of pace. I get facetime with our wonderful vendors, our customers, and I get to work with all the different departments within LifeSpice.

Q: What is the best thing you’ve eaten in the past year?

A: I had the best steak of my life at RPM Steak here in Chicago during the 2022 IFT show – it was a 28-day prime dry-aged NY Strip and it changed my life.

Q: Favorite food related tv show, movie, or book?

A: Anything Alton Brown – Good Eats is a favorite of mine because it mixes Science and Food, two things I love.

Meet Maria Amélia Rodrigues, our Sales Executive based in São Paulo, Brazil. Maria Amélia has been with LifeSpice for 3 years.

Q: What is your favorite part of your job?

A: I have the opportunity to interact with our clients’ different departments every day, and I love to learn more about their businesses, products, and challenges.

Q: What is your favorite food/flavor? Favorite thing to cook?

A: I love the combination of richly seasoned meats (garlic, onion, pepper, salt, cumin, tomato, lemon, olive oil, oyster sauce, and coconut milk) with assorted grilled vegetables and rice.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: I love hiking in pristine places surrounded by nature.
