Chili Tamarind Mangonada

Mangonada, but make it Chili Tamarind!

This Chili Tamarind Mangonada delivers the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors with a unique twist—using Chili Tamarind seasoning instead of the traditional chili lime!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Mangoes, peeled and diced (or 2 cups frozen Mango)
  • 1 cup mango nectar (or orange juice)
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Agave Syrup
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Tamarind seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon chamoy
  • Additional diced Mango and Chili Tamarind Seasoning

Method

  1. Pour Chili Tamarind seasoning onto a small plate. Coat the rim of a glass with lime juice or chamoy, then dip into the seasoning.
  2. In a blender, combine mango, mango nectar, tamarind paste, lime juice, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy. Adjust thickness by adding more ice or nectar.
  3. Drizzle chamoy inside the glass for a swirled effect. Pour in the mango mixture.
  4. Garnish with extra diced mango and a pinch of Chili Tamarind seasoning. Serve immediately!
