Invisible Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 Tbs. Butter
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 3 Eggs 
  • 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 2 Tbs. LifeSpice Harvest Cider Doughnut seasoning
  • 7- 8 Medium Apples

Method

  1. Make cake batter by whipping eggs, sugar and seasoning together. Add milk, butter, mix until combined. Add flour and baking powder.
  2. Peel and core apples, slice them thin on mandolin. Mix apples and the cake batter.
  3. Line a loaf pan mold with parchment and coat it with butter and dust with flour.
  4. Start layering apples in the baking mold, maintaining consistency in the pattern. When the apples are all nicely layered, pour the remaining cake batter on top.
  5. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 65-75 minutes.
  6. Cool it in the mold for 15-20 min. Invert it on the wire cooling rack and let it cool completely.
  7. Slice it carefully with serrated knife.
  8. Serve it with your favorite caramel sauce!

Harvest Cider Doughnut Popcorn

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 Tbs. butter (or a neutral-flavored oil)
  • LifeSpice Harvest Cider Doughnut seasoning

Method

  1. Heat a large pot with a tight-fitting lid over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the popcorn kernels and cover the pot. Shake occasionally until the popping slows to about 1 pop every 2-3 seconds. Remove from heat.
  3. While the popcorn is popping, melt the butter (or heat the oil) in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter or olive oil over the freshly popped popcorn.
  5. Sprinkle the Harvest Cider Doughnut seasoning over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.

Apple Pie Milkshake

Ingredients

Apple Pie Filling

  • 2–3 Medium Apples (peeled and largely diced)
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 2½ Tbs. LifeSpice Harvest Cider Doughnut seasoning
  • Juice of ½ a Lemon (about 1 Tbs.)
  • 1 tsp. Cornstarch

Apple Pie Milkshake

  • 1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
  • ½ cup Whole Milk
  • ⅓ cup Apple Pie Filling
  • 2–3 Graham Crackers (crumbled for texture)
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

  1. Melt the butter on the skillet with brown sugar. Add apples and caramelize them until soft.
  2. Add the lemon juice. Add apple cider donut seasoning and corn starch. Cook until it thickens.
  3. Transfer it to the glass container and cool it down completely.
  4. Next, blend the Apple Pie Milkshake ingredients in a blender.
  5. Use the caramel sauce to coat the glass rim, then dunk the caramelized rim into graham crumbles. Optionally, use caramel to drizzle along the sides of the glass.
  6. Place the glass in the freezer for a couple of minutes. Pour the milkshake into decorated glass.
  7. Use whipped cream, caramel, graham crust and apple pie filling to decorate the top.
