Seasonings Greetings Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 10 Tbs. Brown Butter
  • 3/4 cups + 2 Tbs. Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbs. + 1/2 Tbs. Seasonings Greetings
  • 1/2 Tbs. Cinnamon

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir constantly as it melts, foams, and then turns golden brown with a nutty aroma. Cool to room temperature.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 tablespoon of the Seasonings Greetings seasoning.
  3. In a mixer, beat butter and ¾ cup sugar until fluffy (about 2 minutes). Add egg and vanilla, beating until creamy.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing on low until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 tablespoon Seasonings Greetings seasoning, and 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon. Roll dough into golf-ball-sized balls, then coat in the seasoning mix.
  6. Place dough balls on parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing 3 inches apart. Bake for 9-12 minutes, until set. Let cool.
