Chamoy Pickle Dip

Chamoy Pickle Dip

This memorable dip, adapted from Megan O. Steintrager’s Fried Pickle Dip recipe featured on Serious Eats, utilizes our sweet and tangy Chamoy Pickle seasoning to add a sweet tanginess to a fun dip.

Ingredients

  • 12oz Sour Cream
  • 3/4 cups Mayo
  • 1oz Ranch Seasoning
  • 1 cup chopped Dill Pickles
  • Chopped Dill, to taste
  • 2 Tbs. Unsalted Butter
  • 2/3 cups Panko
  • Salt, to taste
  • LifeSpice Chamoy Pickle Seasoning, to taste

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning and stir until smooth. Fold in the chopped dill pickles (reserve some for topping) and fresh dill. Taste and season with salt and Chamoy Pickle seasoning.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the panko breadcrumbs and cook, stirring frequently, until golden brown and crispy, about 3–5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Transfer the dip mixture to a serving bowl or shallow dish and sprinkle the toasted panko and remaining pickles evenly over the top.
  4. Serve with chips, fries, pretzels, or toasted bread.
