LifeSpice Welcomes Izabela Martins da Silva

LifeSpice is thrilled to welcome Izabela Martins da Silva as our newest R&D Assistant in our Brazil office. We look forward to having her expertise and fresh perspective on our team.

Izabela’s passion for food began at home, when her grandmother and aunt taught her how to cook rice for the first time. This early exposure sparked her curiosity about the origin of food and industrial processes, inspiring her to pursue a career in the food science industry.

Izabela went on to graduate from the Federal University of Viçosa in 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology. During her time as a student, Izabela interned at the Milk and Dairy Products Laboratory, where she gained experience incorporating natural colorants and preservatives into dairy products. She even developed a new product using bovine colostrum. After graduating, she worked as a Laboratory Technician in a dairy plant, deepening her knowledge of food science and laboratory analyses.

Here at LifeSpice, Izabela will work alongside our R&D Team in Brazil, helping them create new and innovative seasoning blends. Her responsibilities will include weighing samples, organizing raw materials, and assisting with sensory analyses.

Looking ahead, Izabela is excited to make meaningful contributions to R&D projects and maintain her commitment to lifelong learning. She’s especially interested in expanding her knowledge of product development and project management.

Outside of work, Izabela enjoys making baked goods, reading romance and suspense novels, watching movies, and spending time with her
friends and family.
