Pickle Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin or Vodka (your choice of martini base)
  • 1 oz Pickle Brine
  • ½ oz Extra Dry Vermouth
  • Dill Pickle Seasoning, for rimming the glass
  • Cornichons and Olives, for garnish

Method

  1. Moisten the rim of a chilled martini glass with a bit of pickle brine. Dip the rim into dill pickle seasoning to coat.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin or vodka, pickle brine, vermouth, and bitters. Shake well until chilled.
  3. Strain into the prepared martini glass.
  4. Skewer a cornichon and an olive (or two) and place on the rim or in the glass for a savory finish.
