Ingredients
For Ribs
- 1 rack Baby Back Ribs
- 4-6 Tbs. LifeSpice Smokin’ BBQ Seasoning
For BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar (or any vinegar you have)
- 1 Tbs. Dijon Mustard (optional, for a bit of tang)
- 1 Tbs. Smokin Seasoning
Method
- Set your over for 300°F.
- To prepare ribs, flip ribs over so that the meatier side is face down, and find the silver skin membrane on the back of the rib rack. Carefully using a knife, slice the end of the membrane away from the ribs, and then grip and pull the membrane from the rest of the rack.
- Place meatier side down on foil, and rub liberally with Smokin’ BBQ Seasoning. Flip and do the same to the other side.
- Wrap well in foil, and place on a sheet tray. Bake for 2 hours at 300°F, flipping ribs once halfway.
- While ribs cook, prepare sauce by combining all ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
- Once 2 hours pass, remove ribs from oven, and increase heat to 500°F. Open foil carefully (lots of steam). Ribs should be fork tender.
- Place back in oven for 10-15 minutes, then remove and brush liberally with BBQ Sauce. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes, or until outside is glazed and crispy.
- Remove, rest for 10 minutes, slice, and enjoy!
