Goat Cheese Logs

Ingredients

3 Peppercorn Goat Cheese

  • 10 g Black Peppercorn, whole
  • 10 g Pink Peppercorn, whole
  • 5 g White Peppercorn, whole
  • 150 g Goat Cheese, log

Gin Inspired Goat Cheese

  • 10 g Juniper Berries, dry whole
  • 7 g Pink Peppercorn, whole
  • 7 g Coriander seeds, whole
  • 1 g Star Anise, powder
  • 3 g Cardamom pods, whole
  • 15 g Dehydrated Orange, slices
  • 150 g Goat Cheese, log

Gin Inspired Goat Cheese

  • 5 g Savory, dry
  • 5 g Rosemary, dry
  • 5 g Oregano, dry
  • 2 g Thyme, dry
  • 150 g Goat Cheese, log

Method

For 3 Peppercorn Goat Cheese

  1. Add all spices to a mortar and grind to desired size.
  2. Lay seasoning on a sheet tray and roll the log to evenly coat the cheese.
  3. Serve.

For Gin Inspired Goat Cheese

  1. Add all spices to mortar and grind to desired size.

  • Mix all herbes
  • Lay seasoning on a sheet tray and roll the log to evenly coat the cheese.
  • Serve.

Honey Harissa Goat Cheese Fritters

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz Goat Cheese, plain
  • 1/3 Cup Panko
  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup LifeSpice Honey Harissa Seasoning
  • 3 Eggs, large

Method

  1. Portion goat cheese into 5 gram balls. Roll to form.
  2. Add LifeSpice Honey Harissa seasoning and Panko breadcrumbs to a blender/food processor and blitz it to make into a finer crumb.
  3. Whisk eggs and add a splash of water.
  4. Set up your breading station with the flour, eggs, and Panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Once cheese is rolled, repeat coating with egg and Panko fo a thicker crust to prevent the cheese from bursting.
  6. Fry the cheese balls in a preheated oil at 350F until golden brown and delicious!
