Color Changing Margarita

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Purple Cabbage, sliced
  • 4 Cups Boiling Water
  • 8oz Mezcal of choice
  • 4oz Triple Sec
  • 3-4oz Lime Juice
  • 1.5-2 Cups Lemonade
  • LifeSpice Chili Tamarind Seasoning
  • Lime Wedges, for garnish

Method

  1. Boil the cabbage with water, then remove from heat and let it sit for some time. Once cool, pour the purple water into ice trays, and let it freeze.
  2. In a pitcher, combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice and lemonade.
  3. Wet the rim of the glass and dip it into Chili Tamarind seasoning.
  4. Place purple ice cubes into glasses, pour margarita over the ice, garnish with lime, and serve.
