Honey Harissa Carbonara

  • 1/4 lb. Guanciale
  • 1 1/2 C Pecorino Romano
  • 1/2 lb. Fresh Spaghetti a la Chitarra
  • 1 tsp. Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp. LifeSpice’s Honey Harissa Seasoning


  1. Cut guanciale into even sized strips and render on medium heat.
  2. Grate pecorino and reserve on the side.
  3. Mix egg yolks, pecorino, guanciale, black pepper, and LifeSpice’s Honey Harissa seasoning in a bowl until fully combined.
  4. Bring water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
  5. Add around 2 tbsp of cooking pasta water to the egg mixture and mix until incorporated.
  6. Add pasta to the sauce mixture, mix until coated, and serve.
