Charred Lemon & Chili Pasta
Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs. Dried Bucatini
- 4 Tbs. Butter
- 1-2 Lemons, depending on taste
- 1/8 cup Parmesan Cheese, plus more for topping
- 1-2 tsp. LifeSpice Charred Lemon & Chili Seasoning
- Cracked Black Pepper
- 1 pint Cherry Tomatoes (if desired)
- 3 handfuls Arugula (if desired)
Method
- Bring a large pot of water to boil over medium high heat.
- While water is coming to boil, blister tomatoes in a tablespoon of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat (if desired). Once tomatoes have softened and begin to color, add handfuls of arugula and wilt over low heat (if desired).
- Once water boils, season generously with salt and add bucatini. Cook to just al dente, as the pasta will finish cooking in the saucepan.
- In the saucepan, add butter and melt over medium heat, being careful not to brown. Once melted, add the zest and juice of lemons and LifeSpice Charred Lemon & Chili Seasoning.
- Once al dente, transfer pasta to saucepan, along with one ladle of pasta water. Cook over medium heat, moving constantly, until a silky sauce forms. If sauce is too tight, add more pasta water.
- Finish with parmesan cheese off heat, and serve immediately with more parmesan, cracked pepper, and lemon zest!
